Draculan offers a base prize pool of €2,000, funded by the organizer, with the rest scaling based on the number of participating teams. The more teams that sign up, the higher the prize pool climbs.

Basic Information:

• Tournament dates: 29–31 August 2025
• Tournament Operator: Digital Crusade

Additional Information:

• No VRS filter and no VRS invitations. Sign-ups are open to all teams
• Seeding will be based on VRS rankings as of two weeks before the event
• The event is open to teams from Europe Region, as defined in Valve's official rules & regulations.
• The entire tournament, including both Open Qualifiers and Main Event, will be played on LAN at Nexus Gamers Pub, Bucharest
• There are no additional compensations for teams or players outside of the prize pool
• Our event aligns with Valve’s Ranked Tier 2 requirements. While Tier 2 events may use direct VRS invitations, Draculan will not issue direct invites. Instead, the top 4 registered teams by VRS (two weeks prior) will be directly seeded into the Main Event.
• HLTV.org, following our application, will determine which stages and matches count toward VRS. Ranking status cannot be guaranteed prior to confirmation..

Integrity and
Eligibility Rules

• Draculan reserves the right to decline participation of teams or players with active VAC bans or any known integrity violations

• Teams with ownership or management ties to the tournament organizer (Digital Crusade) are not eligible to participate

• No organization is allowed to field multiple teams in the tournament, including academy rosters or secondary teams under the same structure

• The full ruleset will be published and made available to all participants at least two weeks prior to the tournament start

• All team players must be able to attend the LAN event in Bucharest, Romania. This includes any required passports or visas. The Operator may request proof that a team can travel; failure to comply may result in exclusion from any stage of the tournament

Draculan: Counter-Strike 2

The fangtastic return of Open LAN Counter-Strike in Bucharest

Draculan brings back the raw open LAN format to CS2, right in the heart of Bucharest. Hosted at Nexus Gamers Pub between 29 and 31 August 2025, the tournament will feature up to 16 teams in a tier 2 VRS Ranked LAN event.

All teams who dare enter will battle head-to-head in an intimate competitive environment that celebrates the spirit of grassroots esports and offers a shot at serious prize money and local bragging rights.

Set in Romania’s gaming capital, this event blends competitive grit with a unique atmosphere inspired by legends of the dark. Whether you’re a rising team or a squad of experienced hunters, Draculan is your arena.

Counter-Strike returns to Bucharest in true grassroots fashion

Draculan revives the open LAN experience in a format designed to attract as many teams as possible, offering them the chance to compete in a structured, VRS Ranked environment.
“Open grassroots LAN tournaments have been sorely missed in Romania. With Draculan, we're bringing back the competitive environment in which today's pro gamers grew up. It's about giving every team the chance to relive that initial “hey, I think I’ve got a shot at this” moment.” said Mihai Daniel Cotos, CEO of Digital Crusade.

Double Elimination, Open Format. Just like it used to be.

Draculan is a Tier 2 VRS Ranked event with open sign-ups, available to any team ready to compete. Registration is handled on a first come, first served basis through www.draculan.gg.
Based on the sign-ups, the top 4 teams by VRS rank (the latest ranking as of three days before the event) will be directly seeded into the Main Event.
These teams will be joined by 4 more from the Open LAN Group Sage Qualifiers, on Day 1.
